Day by Day

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha City (approximately 49km). Take time to relax and acclimate yourself to Tanzania’s climate and altitude. Enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing about your birdwatching safari.

Travel 45km to Arusha National Park. Spend two days birdwatching in lush landscapes of forest, savannah, and wetlands. Expect to spot the Narina Trogon, Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, and Hartlaub’s Turaco. Enjoy leisurely walks and picnic lunches in the park.

A long 335km drive to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Three full days of extensive birdwatching, searching for Kori Bustards, Secretary Birds, and Usambiro Barbet. Besides, you’ll have game drives to see Africa’s iconic wildlife.

Drive 145km to Ngorongoro Crater. Two days exploring this unique ecosystem. Home to more than 500 bird species including the endangered Black Rhino. It’s a fantastic spot for raptors and flamingos.

Drive back to Dar es Salaam (approximately 626km). Enjoy your final day in Tanzania with a farewell dinner, before being transferred to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your departure.
