Day by Day
You’ll be welcomed at Kilimanjaro International Airport by our experienced guide, who will transfer you to Serengeti National Park, approximately 335 km away, a journey of around 8 hours by road. The drive itself is a safari experience, showcasing the diversity of Tanzania’s landscape. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into your lodge, freshen up, and enjoy a warm, sumptuous dinner.
Pre-dawn, you’ll embark on a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti, watching as the sun paints the landscape in hues of gold. After landing, enjoy a traditional bush breakfast amidst the plains. Post breakfast, the day continues with an extensive game drive, seeking out the Big Five and appreciating the vastness of the Serengeti. In the evening, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and rest.
After an early breakfast, you’ll set out for a morning game drive, catching wildlife in their morning routines. After lunch at the lodge, you’ll be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (approx. 335 km away) for your onward journey, taking with you the memories of an authentic African safari.

Activities & Transportation
The highlight of this itinerary is undoubtedly the hot air balloon safari, providing panoramic views of the Serengeti. The balloon ride is followed by two game drives in a 4×4 safari vehicle, allowing you to get close to the wildlife while ensuring your safety and comfort. All airport transfers and travel within Tanzania are included and will be in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
Accommodation & Meals
Accommodation will be provided in a luxury lodge in the heart of Serengeti National Park, allowing you to stay close to nature without compromising on comfort. The lodges are well-equipped with modern amenities and offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes. All meals during your stay are included in the package, providing a mix of international cuisine and local Tanzanian flavors.

Starting from Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to Serengeti National Park, approximately 335 km away. The round trip from the airport to the park and back to the airport will be approximately 670 km in total. Please note that distances within the park can vary greatly depending on the game drives and the movements of the animals.
